Hehe, I'm guessing that's where the Charmander comes in, eh?
*pokes at the Trainer card in sig* I may have a hard time creating sprites, but I can be a god(dess) editor at times.

I'll make use of Wigglytuff Club to change current team members, just so you know. I'm glad I thought of a way to use it in that sense!
And Talim, worry not. It's RPG Maker 2003. Glad you have experience on it already!

Jose, are you drinking soup or something?
And while Charmander wasn't exactly the fire-type I was thinking of...oh well.
So, Wigglytuff Club = Ruida's Tavern from Dragon Warrior III...?

Hey, R.S, I have a solution to your 'seperate game' problem. I think.
If you did make it that you can make your own character, you don't have to keep it as this:
[Message: Welcome to Kecleon Shop, Squirtle!]
Instead, hit Variable and choose [Hero: In Party] (assuming that there's only one person in your party which is a custom YOU.)
Then inside the Variable, put the message. So, if per say, you started with Charmander, you would put this:
Variable: Charmander, In Party >Message: Welcome to Kecleon Shop, Charmander!
And there you go. Just hit variable throughout the game.
Atleast, I think it was Variable, it might be some different option. I'll check in a bit.
EDIT- Oops, my bad. It's Conditional Branch.

I've tried stuff like that and it doesn't appear to work. But there are other ways of doing it, I'm just not sure if doing it like an actual game would work. I am looking into it, however. And if it does work, expect a personality test.

Hm? Here, give me the code of that part and I'll see if I can get it to work properly.
Mm, how would the personality test go? I cannot find a way to do that.
I did, however, get a script for my own game called 'Hyper Mode'. It was when your main character fell under half HP, and then he gained double attack and half defense. My friend made it for me, so maybe I can get him to help a bit.

If I remember correctly, it involves a set of switches for the events that have a changing name. As soon as I get RPG Maker 2003 downloaded, I'll create and test out a paticular situation, then end you a sample script, 'kay, R.S.?
And Jose, Pikachu's STAYING as Hardy!
