I'm starting up a Pokémon Club pretty soon and out of the small group of friends I already made, they think I should be the president since I know a shit load amount about the game (you guys know and mock me behind my back because I'll never get any).
On top of that, the school is handing out free life time subscriptions for Norton Anti-Virus, which is awesome too.
And I got lost in the city today while I was looking for the post office. I finally found my way back after zig-zagging streets for two hours.

Don't worry, R.S. The way things are going now, I won't be getting any anytime soon as well.

You're in a band and at least leave the house. I don't without getting lost.

I have more of a life than someone? That's amazing. Thanks for boosting my self esteem! Also, speaking of band I won't be on at all tomorrow because of the football game and I won't be back 'til midnight, and then I'll go to sleep as soon as I get home. Then on Saturday I'll be gone from 11am to 6pm and out after that 'cuz we're going out to eat for my parents anniversary. Then, next Friday I'll be gone 'til midnight again, then marching band will be over!

Marching Band must eat up a lot of your time buddy. I have a few friends in it, but not a college one. I have an AP class which is like a college one, does that count?

Hey, my brother's in marching band. He's the Drum Major and Band President. >_< I'll be joining next year. Middle school sucks.

I'm attending college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. It isn't a university, but it is the home campus (That's right, The AI schools originated in Pittsburgh). We're centered pretty much right in downtown Pittsburgh and there's a bunch of stuff to do at almost any given time, but living in a big city is new to me. I went for a walk the other day while running some errands, thought I figured out a shortcut back to my apartment, and ended up lost for two hours before finding my way back.

You've got to get a map or something.

I can read maps, but I do find it fun to get lost in the city. I go out with no real destination in mind and I just navigate my way around by zig-zagging through the streets. Up one street, down the block, then through another street. When you're in no hurry, it is a great way to find your way around the city. On top of that, you'll never know what you'll find in a place like this, either! It's a lot of fun!
Tomorrow, I plan on hopping on the subway and riding to a different part of the city that I haven't been to before just to see what's there.

Nope. But with everything I need within walking distance, I don't care so much to get it now. If I need to go shopping, I go down the street one block for groceries. If I want to do something fun, there are plenty of hang outs, museums, science centers, and so on within arm's length (and since I'm a student, I get discounts!). There's also a zoo, we have Kennywood right outside town (Kennywood is an amusement park and it is fucking awesome, or so I thought when I last went there at age 7. I was too scared to do the real big roller coasters then, but hope to do it next summer). Plus, a 15 minute walk will take me to the gates of Heinz Field, where the Steelers play! And since I actually personally know Ray Mathews, he played for the Steelers from 1951-1959, he and his friends and family get awesome deals on Steeler games and I can probably get in on it. The possibilities just go on and on with what I can do in this city, which is why I sit my ass infront of a computer all day long telling you about it!
Plus, in terms of a car, there are a lot of street lights here. With all the starting and stopping, it'd be quicker to get to things in town.

Wow, you got it made in your new place. Glad everything is falling into place for you Squirtle. Pokémon clubs, awesome places not far from your home... It's perfect for ya. xD All the fun places I go to aren't within walking distance, so yeah, driver's licenses are nice in my situation.

Congrats Squirtle, seems like this is really working out well for you. Now I kinda wish that I was in college, it sounds like a lot of fun. But regardless, keep on enjoying yourself and getting lost in the city.
Also, about that Squirtle merchandise...

Sounds like you're really enjoying yourself. A Pokémon Club, everything's within walking distance, you have friends, and you get discounts everywhere! Now I can't wait for college.
