I was looking around at some of our affiliates and stuff like that, both past and present, and I couldn't help but realize something: Among Proboards forums, RTC is really quite unique.
Sure, there's been other forums who has had a shit load more activity than we have, but guess what? Those things only last a small while, a couple months. Then the forums starts to wither up and eventually just completely die where nobody goes there anymore. In a sense, it's kinda like talking about stars.
You have these red super giant stars that are all spectacular and all, but either just peter out or go supernova in a huge explosion, leaving behind a black hole or something (some of you know what I'm talking about, friendly gesture).
Then you have another forum like RTC, which can be compared to our own sun. In relation to other forums, we may not be as big or as active, but we survive longer than those other places. Well over four years we've been around and we come and go in activity, but we're never truly dead. We're always here and we're always running. We may not be as big as other places who have died as quickly as they came, but we're in it for the long run and last much, much longer in comparison.
