Maybe she just doesn't really like lizards. I dunno.
Treecko's my favorite starter for Emerald, especially due to the lack of great grass types.

Treecko is my favorite Pokémon in general. I just don't understand it. She only freaked out after it said something...Ah, I just thought it was funny. He's too cool for her anyway. xD

I always see a Treecko as being an independent, "loner" type. You know, the kind that girls fawn over in schoolyards.
Maybe I'm just getting the mental image from how Ash's Treecko acted.

Maybe I'm just getting the mental image from how Ash's Treecko acted. Probably, but when I read the official Pok?Dex, it described Treecko as the "Cool and relaxed" type. So, maybe your right.

This is a deep topic. What would you consider your representation of your character to be in terms of personality?

My character? Well, if you're talking about me as Grovyle, who was previously Treecko, then I would probably say that I was constantly trying to fit in, and not "Comfortable in my own skin", which doesn't fit the description of Treecko or Grovyle at all. Is that what you were getting to?

Yeah, sort of.
Then again, the main character in the games would probably be having an intense inner conflict, so that kind of makes sense.

...the main character in the games would probably be having an intense inner conflict... This might just be all of the peer pressure and drama of being a teenager, but that just feels so true... (Notice the title of this thread doesn't fit anymore)

Well, you have to consider that the character may not have the same state of mind as he (or she - not forgetting you, Jean) used to have. In addition, they will have to get used to their bodies. (starts into a long conversation about how different the changes are - I'm sure none of you want to hear it)

True, considering the shock of being turned into a Pokémon.
