Okay, so, we know the four seasons are in the Black and White games, right? Really bug hype about that and all. Well, I've been playing the game since the Spring season and decided I'd be good and wait to see all four seasons without time traveling. Well, Spring was cool, then summer came. Only difference in summer was things were greener and this one city gets different music, it turns all tropical. But besides that, meh. Then fall comes and colors change. But winter was what I was really waiting for because I was expecting new places to open all over the region and to be completely covered in snow!
Winter came. Only one part of the entire region got snow and you could access places you couldn't before. Just one. Exciting. The rest of the region doesn't even have snow; the grass is all gray and the trees turn a sort of blueish color. And that's it. Nothing else.
The season changes was an empty hype.

Well, that stinks. Although, I guess it's better than nothing.

After the really big hype they had about it, I was seriously expecting more.
"SOME Pokémon APPEAR MORE COMMON IN OTHER SEASONS THAN OTHERS!!!"
Yeah, in one spot.
"ACCESS CERTAIN SPOTS ONLY DURING CERTAIN SEASONS!!!"
Again, only in one spot. Pretty much the exact same spot. Oh, and both of the above qualifies for winter only.
I was expecting more out of the seasons, even if just a little bit. But to be this completely shallow is just... sad. With this little content, I would've taken no hype at all and have no seasons instead of the big hype and then nothing.

The Seasons thing really didn't seem too interesting anyway, I think it'd work for a game like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon, but not so much in a Pokémon game. I think they should just stick with the basics, even though B/W seems like a new game, it still feels familiar, and that's the way it should be, that's where all the controversy in the Sonic community comes in, new games and features are introduced, fans get hyped, then game is released, and it sucks because it reinvented the wheel.
The idea is great, but its just meh in the game.

Okay, so, we know the four seasons are in the Black and White games, right? ...I didn't know that. ...huh. Well, upon reading that line I instantly started imagining Animal Crossing-levels of season changes...but reading the rest of your post it sounds rather noneffectual. Shame.

It would at least be cool if all the parts of the region got snow. Even if it didn't expand to new areas, just all the places being covered with a nice blanket of snow. We're denied that.

I didn't know that either. I personally hated the snow in Pokémon games, so this is relieving for me. XD
Though, I can see where your coming from. It would of been neat to see the whole region covered in snow. Not even snow falls? That's a disappointment.

Only in a few places, but only in one place does it stick and actually look like winter. The rest of the region is depressing to look at.
