Has anyone tried using the G.T.S., Global Trade Station, yet? Man! It's awsome!
Since I got my first gym badge last night, I wanted to check it out. I got the details of it and saw that I had to deposit a Pokémon into the WFC. So I wanted to test this out and caught a Geodude (Lv. 5) as a test. I offered him up for trade in exchange for a male Pachirisu of any level. I offered him up and went to bed.
I just recently woke up and went to see how things are going. When I went onto the WFC, I was greeted by a Pachirisu... that was at level 29! And it came from Japan! It's name and trainer's name is in Japanese! I could also track down where the guy I traded it with live! According to the globe, the kid lives in Okayama, Japan!
Over night, I made a trade from across the globe and got a Pokémon! Oh, and it has PokeRS, which is a very rare status effect which can spread to other Pokémon. But it's not bad! It lasts about a week (or a day, can't remember) but any Pokémon with PokeRS... when they level up, they gain greater stats than usual!
THAT IS AWSOME!!! I'm gonna have to catch another Pokémon and set it up for trade!
