I'm trying to learn Japanese for my Foreign Languages classes. ^^;; I only know some BASIC Japanese (Konichiwa! Hajimemashite, tomodatchi?) so... yeah. Er...what does that mean?

It means 'Hello (or Good Afternoon)! How do you do, friend?' You use Hajimemashite when meeting for the first time. For alternatave use, you can use Douzo Yoroshiku, which means 'Nice to meet you'.
