Yes, another Staff Reorganization. This time, it is the most dramatic one of all.

Everybody who was once staff has now officially been demoted to normal members. This means Lexy, Bulby, and MGoS are now normal members.

Shocking? To me, not really. Everybody there at one point has contributed something to the site in some shape, way, or form, but these days they haven't really been quite as contributing. We're pretty well behaved to begin with, I've only had to hand out one warning to a passing member for a couple of gravedigs this year and that was it. We're not active, we've got nothing going on.

In a sense, it is really quite irritating.

However, this was something I had planned for a while now anyway. Those who once could've read the staff board would've read that post I made from months ago. It is all part of the process to try to revive RTC.

As of now, I'm the only staff left, mainly because I can't demote myself. Again, it is irritating.

But with that said, I am accepting staff applications of two kinds: For normal forum mods and some RP Mods.

Forum mods will have all the typical responsibilities bestowed upon them and I'll be hiring two of them: One normal mod and one Global Mod. They also have the right to moderate Role Plays as well.

RP Mods are simply mods meant to help maintain the Role Plays, posting battles and such like that. Other than that, their much like normal members. If they do well enough and show enough interest, promotions can be given.

Since we're... rather lacking on members right now, I'm willing to accept applications from anyone. But bare this in mind: Just because I'm accepting applications from even new members, if the application itself is poor, I'm not hiring you.


Now, if anybody is bothering to read this, I want to point out (again) that we're holding an >>Advertisement Design Contest!<< People who develop the best advertisement for the site will also win prizes and anybody simply even joins will earn something simply for the thought! So c'mon, join in on that, too!



Staff Application Requirements

If you'd like to apply for staff on RTC, I ask you read the following and follow the criteria I am about to post. I want your application to wow me the best to your abilities and following these guides will help you get the job.

• Spelling and grammar- No text or 1337-talk at all. Use your periods, word usage, and so on. I don't want to see stuff like "u shuld pick me 4 staff cause I was staff on 5 other sites" because I will ignore it immediately.
  
• Content- Make it look pretty and convince me you want the job.
  
• Contribution- Tell me what you've got to offer to RTC that will make you a worthy staff member! And please, not just maintaining boards or something like that. I'm looking for people with ideas on how to expand the site and make it more active!
  
• Position- Naturally, what spot are you applying for? Staff or RP Mod?
  
• References- If you've been staff on another site, tell me what site it is and the URL for said place! If you don't have the URL, like it was deleted or what-not, don't bother mentioning it. And if the place you were staff at was also kinda poor in quality, be careful putting it in your application because it might hurt you more than help

You can either reply to this thread with your application or PM it to me, whatever makes you more comfortable. Remember to think carefully on it before submitting. And if any past staff want their old positions back, remember that I'll be wanting you to contribute back to the site and help me along with this; We're not those construction workers where one man digs and everybody else stands around and watches: We all work together as a team.


And pardon me if I came off sounding kinda harsh in this announcement; I was not thrilled to do this at all. If I offended anyone, I apologize.

Alright, got a little bit of a heads-up here.

As of now, I have obtained a total of 3 applications. The applicants were Missingno, Latios, and our new comer here, Akoclypse. Right now, only Missingno is a staff at this point since I know he's been active for a god awful long time: He's been promoted to the G Mod position.

Latios, on the other hand, is just a little bit too inactive for my liking. Granted, it is the holiday vacation and a lot of sites are experiencing a slump in activity, I'm sure once he gets back he will have a good shot of getting the normal mod position if he keeps up his activity.

Akoclypse... umm... no offense, but your application was actually horrible. The things I have listed, these weren't things where you were meant to copy and paste, then delete the extra stuff. These were things I was looking for when you actually submitted your application and I got the feeling that you didn't even really read them. The two sites you listed to me, one was deleted and the other one has only 7 members and not very impressive looking; Two things I specifically asked that you didn't include for your own sake since it kills points with me. And the whole "I'm admin of my own site" thing doesn't really work too well unless if the site is impressive. I'd consider really revising your app if you were to try again.


Anyway, that is it for now. The position for a reglar mod and all positions for RP Mods are still available and will be available for as long as it will be.

Oh, and a note to Missingno, when the RP does come up, you'll be drafted for duty on it. I know you said you kinda didn't want to, but that's roughly the only job directly on hand I can assign to you if no other projects comes up. Kinda like if you're working fast food and you're on counter while it is dead, rather than having you stand there and do nothing, I'll have you scrubbing the walls while you're on the clock. Y'know, that kinda thing.

I've been in Dallas for the past two weeks so that explains my inactivity. I have been trying to log on as much as possible, but obviously that wasn't wasn't enough. I'm sure now I'll be on daily (Or close to it).

Oh, wow. This is amazing! I'll definitely do my best to live up to expectations.

I would also like to apologize for my lack of activity in the past few days; I've been together with family a lot, so I had wanted to spend more time with them, and less time by myself on my computer, since I do that all the time anyway. So, I should be on a bit more starting next week.

Okay, before I get flooded with any more PMs on the matter, I'm going to say it right here.

I'm not looking for any further RP Mods. I originally wanted 2 and ended up taking on 4. As of now, topics seem to be very well taken care of, but it is having issues on its own. I was expecting such a thing to happen anyway until the better standard is set and properly enforced, so 4 is more than enough; not like everybody hasn't had to wait more than 5 minutes for a reply.

In terms of normal mods? I believe Latios was off to get it the position as a normal mod when his activity increases. I forgot to pay attention to that with doing other things, so I'll take a look at it later.

Again, no more RP Mods for now. But to anybody who did apply and sent me their wonderful applications, I'll let you know when I'm looking again and you will be on the top of the list.
