I did say in my feedback thread last month that by the come of the new year, I would ditch the Orre Region RP in favor of the Unova Region. I did get some feedback on it, but frankly it wasn't quite enough. I'm gonna get ready to ditch the Orre Region in favor of the Unova Region. But before I do, I wanted to see if any of you have any objections to this course of action that I am about to take.

I think it's a good idea to make this switch. I mean think about, what were we supposed to take the Orre region? There is absolutely nothing in it.

Yeah, pretty much my thoughts exactly. The region... really lacks stuff. Not much to go on, really. So I am trying to assemble some stuff for the Unova Region, including an advertisement for the site (since you lazy bastards aren't helping, so I'm getting the shiny Eevee all to myself D:< ) and a new skin for the site, possibly to be used as the new default since it is Black & White themed and we want that theme there to be more attractive to people interested in our RP. I mean, if people come here looking for a trainer RP and the first thing they're greeted to is PMD, don't you think that'll leave them feeling a little confused?

First rule of thumb- Don't fucking try to advertise to the wrong crowd. So yeah, it is kinda your fault because you made a dumb shit move there.
But the fact is I'm looking for people to make an advertisement for us in the contest, which it really bums me out that there wasn't even 1 submission for it. My current project is now to take a break from the skin I'm creating and work on an image for the advertisement.

I wouldn't call them the wrong crowd. About half of the OT (Off-topic boards) are really into Pokémon, but are not into RPing, like me. It might grow on me though.

Hopefully, because I will certainly need the aid in modding threads. This time, I'm going for it all. The only disadvantage I have no staff to aid once the RP is done. So I'm hoping some recruits will give me a hand once everything is laid out and ready to go. Because until I get some people who are willing to help with the RP, I'll be modding by myself.

You know you're already at the top of the list. Just keep up the activity and you're sure to get it. Once the RP is ready to rule (hopefully by next week because that is how quick I've already got some of this planned out since I have things like towns and gyms planned out before me already), that's probably when I'll give the next round of promotions. EDIT:Anyway, I just now finished the advertisement and canceling the Advertisement Contest. However, in exchange and for a limited time until March 6th, if you use the advertisement I designed to recruit a member, even just one, when they create a character profile and site you as the recruiter, you will still earn yourself a shiny Eevee. For now, I must strongly enforce this, but do not advertise just yet. We're not ready for it.
