Just incase if anybody has noticed lately, there have been some glitches happening to RTC every now and again. The source of this problem, that I believe to be so far, is the Version 4.5 upgrade. I've recived some reports that RTC was deleted and other times where a nice chunk of our members were deleted as well. However, I think they're trying to iron out these bugs in the servers.
Also, we cannot change back to normal Version 4.0. This was an entire server change, so any board on server 104 is probably experiencing the same problems (as well as the other upgraded forums, such as 99, 100, 103, and so on.)
So, no, I'm pretty sure we're not in trouble with the ToS. If we were, I probably would've gotten word of this or something by now. But so far, I think it's just the whole Version 4.5 boards who are receiving this error. Hopefully, this will all be over with. I mean... we're one of the first 5 servers to receive this upgrade, and there are somewhere around... off the top of my head, 130 ProBoards servers. We're bound to experience some problems.

Possibly, but I cannot say for sure as I'm not a member there, nor even have staff powers. I don't quite know exactly what you're talking about. But what I do know is that I think twice RTC was randomly deleted with several other forums on the upgraded servers, but were quickly brought back. I can't say because I wasn't online during these times, but that's what Bulby told me.

It seems to have only been a glitch, so the times we were accidentally deleted, we were restored quickly without anyone reporting it. But don't worry, we're not in trouble with anything. ProBoards is simply trying to fix bugs in the new 4.5 is all.

Though I doubt it will happen to us, I do have us a back-up created from a long time ago. I save the e-mails of our regulars and will e-mail everyone if the day we get perma deleted ever does happen. Don't worry yourself over the small details- I'm already all over it and prepared.

Bulby was probably either stoned... jk or he was using a different computer though. But it's Bulby's story, he's not proven Guilty or Innocent until he's in a court of law.

I couldn't access the website either, as it always took me to the proboards homepage.

I dunno either because by the time I got the memo, RTC was already back up and running. Maybe it happened while you were gone as well, for it must've happened... sometime in the morning or early afternoon, a time that you may not be on yet from guessing from you past activities. Who can say for sure.

i had connection problems yesterday, it sais that there was to many servers connected to here, so i had to wait. I've gotten that a lot of times when I was first part of the ProBoards community somewhere around two and a half years ago. I don't know what they were doing then because... well, I was simply a n00b with good grammar back then: maybe they were doing some sort of update then, I dunno. But the connection error you received, as it simply said, is when the server is currently busy. Sometimes its from an overload of connections, down for temporary matainince, or some related factor. Either way, that is not something that's extremly rare- it just happens sometimes. ok...RTC was temp-deleted because i have netgear firewall and it wont let me on the main site and when i was coming here it would not let me on so thats proof but Jose it has not happened to your site yet same with my other site Now, no need to blame yourself. If a site would crash every time someone had a firewall up, the whole internet would've exploded by now. Firewalls won't do a single thing to us, as there are only four possible ways for a forum to be deleted in any way. 1. The head administrator of the site (that would be me) chooses the "Delete This Forum" option in my administrative functions. 2. We pretend to be completly stupid and insert a site deleting code into our H&D (like a good bud of ours a couple of weeks ago demanding we insert an unknown code into our H&D- we banned him on the spot) 3. We came in violation of the ProBoards ToS and lose our privilage to be on ProBoards, thus being promptly removed. 4. System errors that occur with the ProBoards network. These, however, are quickly fixed. So, unless you have staff powers (and more specifically, my exact spot as founding admin), you should have nothing to do with RTC being temporarily deleted. Everything that can happen with it is an internal problem, never an external problem- this would mean your firewall. So, please don't blame yourself. Not all the bugs in Version 4.5 have been removed yet and they're working on improving it now.
