What? Surprised to see something here after all these years? Come now, you silly gooses. Did you really think I'd just up and forget my ol' baby? R.T.C. was the time of my life, years ago.

Anyway, I'd love to give a more in-depth update on myself, but I just honestly came by to visit the old place again and noticed that Photobucket is being a dickhole about third party hosting. I mean, the image hosting site went out of style years and years ago. But boy, if this doesn't just put a nail in the coffin for them to keep people from using them. I mean, I tried to see what I could do to set up for third party hosting, but those crazy sons-of-guns want $400 a year!

FOUR-HUNDRED DOLLARS A YEAR!

Crazy, right?

Anyway, just here to let you guys know (all none of you) that I am aware of this travesty and I will be working on moving all the images from my Photobucket account over to my Imgur account. This will include the images for the background, banner, whatever I can salvage. I think there's even an image gallery of when I went to the 2009 Pokémon World Championships, so I'll get that over as well if I can.

For now, it's getting to be late and I need to be up early, so this little project will have to wait. But I'll get to it soon, hopefully within a week.

Anyhoo, I'm taking some time out today to fix the broken ass images here on the site. I know it's silly since this site is dead and all that, but I'm borderline obsessive compulsive at the least. I may not be officially diagnosed as such, but I think I do make a compelling case if you see how I do somethings. I love to clean and organize. And this ugly butt Photobucket crap in the background has got to go.

So, first a quick progress report. I found that all the images I used for this site were not on the account that use my normal email, but rather something that starts with an "ha" and ends with an "[e-mail]." I have no damn clue what email I used for this because I can't remember ever using an email that started with an "ha." I tried logging into the R.T.C. Photobucket with my standard set of passwords, but no die. I can't get into it.

Luckily, I did find that all the albums within this account were made public, so I don't need to download them anyway. And boy, the nostalgia flooding back to me. Everything is there. Background images, buttons, the ol' clickable icons for login, profile, and such. Plus images from other skins you don't see anymore, images from my coverage of Pokémon Platinum and Pokémon Heart Gold... the imported Japanese versions! Plus the images from when I went to the 2009 Pokémon World Championships! Oh, good times. Good times.

Do miss this place.

Edit: Can't seem to download image albums, so I'll have to do it one at a time. This'll take a while.

Alrighty! As you can now plainly see, I've fixed a bunch of what was wrong here. Took a while to download the Photobucket images one at a time (and I had to copy albums over from one account to the next), but I finally got around to doing so. Thankfully, Proboards now allows you to host some images here on the site itself without the need of third party support sites. Granted, it is only 50 Mb, but that is more than enough for this ol' place. I didn't bother to go around and fix all the other skins because, let's face it. I'm the only one able to log in here and just so long as ye old viewers can see the default skin not look like a rotting pile of garbage, it's good.

Check it out, though! I even got the "gradients" back and working, so no more of those white bars! The old banner looks pretty small, though... but hey. Welcome to the day and age of 720p and 1080p displays. I just had some crappy old monitor back in the day. You know, the ones the size of microwaves. Big, blocky, heavy, and with a super tiny resolution. Super ancient in comparison to the 1080p, 144 Hz, 24" curved screen Samsung monitor I use now.

Yes, I do PC game. I mean, did you miss where I had my Steam in the other post? Yeesh!

But yeah, I fixed RTC enough that we probably shouldn't have to worry anymore with images going ape shit. You can now view the nostalgia in glory-ish. There are still some things that need to be done, like getting the HG/SS coverage photos back up and what-not, but there is still honestly a super lower volume of people who even come here anymore (despite me hearing from one of you crazy guys again!), so I'm not making it as high a priority as making the skin not a god damn eyesore again (which I have to say, this default theme actually is pretty nice and not distracting; I did do good worth with this, at least. Not so much the others).

So, there ya go! Enjoy the new R.T.C.! Same as the old R.T.C.! Which that I mean dead.

PS- I saw this in The Elder Scrolls Online and it just made my heart melt a bit.
