Chao Club's Retirement

Wow, what a monumental week this is for the internet. Chao Club's administrators are retiring from the site and hiring three new people. For the full thread, go here:

I hope at least some of you know what Chao Club is. If you don't well, its basically why this forum is here. R.S. used to be Heroic, and he wanted to run his own site, so he made his own. At least, thats how I think the story goes. So basically, RTC's father is being replaced by new admins. I'm so emotionally distraught that I can't post in the thread myself, but I thought the least I could do is let RTC know in case some of the members came from CC or want to know more. But please, if this is the first time you're hearing of CC, do not post in this thread. It means a lot and should be reserved only to long time members.

Actually, RTC was made because I was off making roughly my fourth forum after playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue team and at the time I was also still crazy for Final Fantasy Tatics Advance and I called by clan "Clan Chaotix" and that's why the URL is what it is. I was hoping I could start clan wars for the most rescues done and it didn't quite work that way, but the site somehow magically survived. But I wouldn't really call CC RTC's "father".

...I already posted everything I really wanted to over there, though.

For admin? No, I'm not sure if I'm capable of CC's standards anymore. I'd like to, but I think there'd simply be conflict again if I tried. When I did become staff again years ago, I tried to enforce the rules just like I would've previously, but then shit hit the fan. They say I changed, I say they changed because stuff like that was previously unacceptable and yadda yadda yadda, somehow DT convinced everyone I called him a tyrant (I honestly never called him that from the start, he said something like "You must think I'm a tyrant" and I replied with "If you're so instant on it, then fine; you're a tyrant"), blah blah blah. I just don't want it happening again. Even if they actually did hope I would return and apply, I just really don't think I'm going to. Say the least, we may not meet the other's standards anymore.

It is pretty sad. I've posted my piece (MykonosFan there) at Chao Club. Being someone who used to be staff at a rival/enemy to CC and then slowly transitioning to like CC more made kind of an emotional attachment, I'll miss the guys who are leaving there.

Speaking of which, I really should swing around RTC more often than I do.
