Good luck with that, RS. With myself as an admin, I hope to keep it as it is. If you don't do anything, CC's activity is going to return to its shit-state by Christmas. Also, in the Staff Lounge is a thread from March (?) 2008 about the Regent rank's creation and what it does. I suggest you find it and pick a new Regent. |

Oh wow, I never really did much with CC but it's sad to watch the end of an era like this. Then again, I didn't attach myself too heavily to any other forum like this one.

Stuff. The admins and former admins (and by that, I just mean Matt and DT; nobody else apparently knew) thought Jake wasn't doing his job as admin so wanted me to replace him. I reluctantly agreed after much consideration, but when I realized nobody else even knew of what was going on, I aimed to set things straight because Jake was demoted unfairly out of the blue. If I hadn't have asked his opinion beforehand, he would've had no idea this was coming. But from a poll result and some discussion, it looks like I'll be keeping the spot as admin, probably because of my long history with CC, still rather active on the internet, but also because I'm familiar with the responsibilities of being an admin. Not just from here at RTC, but through CC, too. I wasn't called one of CC's best staff years back for nothing. I'm glad that nobody holds grudges against me and still thought well of me enough to trust the site in my care.
*lights a match*
Anyway, Jake is now at a G Mod similar position on CC, which he seems to be alright with... or so I hope. But watch, I'm going to wake up one of these mornings and Jake will be standing over my bed, dressed like the Grim Reaper and smiling like a crack addict. In other words, his normal self.
