Went out for dinner tonight with my aunt and cousin and we had a little chat about our family lineage. It started when my cousin was showing all the Greece stuff he has on, since he is part Greek. His dad, my uncle, isn't blood related to me, so I'm not part Greek. But my aunt (who is blood related) was talking about our lineage a little bit and she said that we're actually part Native American. Ottawa Indian, to be exact. My great, great grandmother was apparently one-quarter Ottawa Indian, which makes me... I dunno, like, 1/16th Indian or something.
What a kicker, eh? I thought I was almost everything from Europe, but never knew before I had Native American blood in me; Guess that explains my high cheek bones. Still, my theme song remains as "White & Nerdy" simply because of how white and nerdy I am.
Not really important, but I just thought that was cool to know.

Your heritage is always interesting to learn about. I have no clue about mine, since I was adopted. I do know, however, that I was born in South Korea.

YOU'RE AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT!!!
You were born overseas? Damn, never would've guessed that. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania (which is why I prefer it like no other). I know other blood I have is Irish, Scottish, Polish, Swedish, Welsh, Italian, and German. But Native American? Damn, I'm even more of a mutt than I thought. What other lineage do I have?

Yup, I was born in South Korea, and came over to NJ at (I think) three months. I've lived here ever since. Only moved once, and that was just across town.

Be thankful for that stable life-style. In my life, I've probably moved to a different place over 20 times; Some just within the same year. You'd think I lived in a military family with how often we moved. On average, I've just about moved once a year for every year I've lived.

Ah family lineage...
I know my mother's family came to America close to a hundred years ago from Russia and Poland, with my dad's family being in America much longer.
Hey, you know the Hessians? German mercenaries during the Revolutionary War? Of course you don't. My lineage can be traced back to those guys meaning I'm part German and technically British as well unless the Hessian brought over his wife. >_> I also have a good majority of my blood being Dutch too. I'm scattered but have no native American blood.
Gotta love them Hessians.
