Uh, i thought you play as a Pokémon Ranger... hence the name. Plus doesn't it come out, oh i dont know, Halloween?

Came out already for where I am at. You play a a trainer that is a ranger.

It is difrent, although I ordered the Japanesse version. You play with the trainer and capture Pokémon with a spin top and a taming rod and use it's powers to do obstacles. You do battle sometimes but you usually capture the Pokémon without battling.
