Ah yeah... I've been getting carried away with that the past few days before heading to work.
But yeah, the Trial Version of the internet channel was released just the other day for free download off of the Wii Shop Channel. It's got some features you won't be able to use until the full version comes out, some of which might be music download, muiltible windows, and use of a keyboard.
Although, I also got word of when the full version will be coming out. My sorces tell me that the full version won't be ready until late March. But there is good news- if you purchase the full version between when it comes out and the end of June, you'll get to have the internet browser free for the life of your Wii. Not exactly sue what that means, but if you buy it after the end of June, I think you'll have to buy the Internet Channel again after so much time, unless you get it before June ends. But the price of it? I hear it's only going to be about 500 Wii Points (Around $5 bucks).

UPDATE
I've got some news on the newest games that have been added to the Wii Shop Channel, and I've also cofrimed when the News Channel will be avalible. First, the games.
Dungeon Explorer- TurboGraFX 16 - 600 Wii Pointa
Gradius - NES - 500 Wii Points
Soldier Blade - TurboGraFX 16 - 600 Wii Points
Baseball - NES - 500 Wii Points
Urban Champion - NES - 500 Wii Points
R-TYPE - TurboGraFX 16 - 800 Wii Points
Street Fighter II: The World Warrior - Super NES - 800 Wii Points
Super Castlevania IV - Super NES - 800 Wii Points
Super Mario Bros. - NES - 500 Wii Points
Toe Jam & Earl (What the hell...?) - Sega Genesis - 800 Wii Points
Those are the latest releases of games added to the Wii Shop Channel. I've also got the offical release date of when the Wii News Channel will be avalible. It'll be free to download on January 27th, 2007.
Also, more news on the full version of the Internet Channel. By late March, it'll be avalible to download at no price at all! You don't need any Wii Points to get it! However, it's a limited time only! If you do not download it by the end of June, you'll then have to pay for it.

Nice. Now if I get tired of playing ALttP on my GBA, I can spend the Wii points and play it on the big TV.

It was originaly made for the Super Nintendo (exlcuding the Four Swords and Lumberjack sidequest and secret dungeon). Although, LttP is widly aclaimed as the best classic Zelda game created. I first played it when I was 6 years old... didn't get to play it again until I was 15. Oh how I missed that game...
