For those of you too lazy to check in with your Nintendo Wii to see the newest selection of games, channels, and updates, then have no fear! I'll be more than willing to tell everyone of the latest features that our favorite consule has to offer.
First off, there have been a few new games added onto the Wii Shop Channel over the past few days. I can't remember them all off the bat, but I remember a few. Some titles include Military Maddness for Turbographic 16 (I think) and Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine. Some games that have already been on the list include, but not limited to, Super Mario 64 (N64), Wario's Woods (NES), Ristar (Genisus), Sonic the Hedgehog (Genisus), Hockey (NES), and Echo the Dolphin (Genisus).
And just today, a new feature is avaible for free download when you update your Wii's hardrive- the Wii Forcast Channel, right on time if you plan on traveling this Holiday season to see family and friends! The Wii Forcast Channel allows you to check your local weather, from what today's wind MPH is going to be, to weather conditions, to today's high. And you can also see what weather is expected for the days ahead with the 5 day forcast. And if you get bored with your local weather, you can see what weather is going on all over the world- including the South Pole! Not only that, but if your Wii is online with Wii24 Internet, then the weather is updated every few hours with help from NASA. Nintendo's really going at it, eh?
The next channel that will be avialible to recive will either be the News Channel (allowing you to see what's big on the headlines) or the Internet Channel (which will allow you to surf the internet at will, just like on your computer). And because of the characteristics of the Wii Internet Channel, don't be surprised if a Keyboard option will be avalible soon for you Wii-mote.
And that's it for today. I'll let you guys know if there is anything else.
Bulby101:
I heard that they will release some Wii Keyboards that plug into your remote just like a nunchuck controller. The Wii Remote will act as the mouse, A button for left click, B button for right click, control pad for scrolling vertically and hortizontally, and +/- symbols for back/foward functions. Indeed, Nintendo is going at it, and that's why i buy from them. Cuz they aren't like Sony and Microsoft, those greedy little...
