I've got one of the versions, but it's the one most people don't consider an "offical" DDR game. The one I have is DDR: Mario Mix. Took me awhile to get ahold of, but I love it. I used to suck in general for I couldn't even do the simpelist level without screwing up. But now, I can almost beat Bowser's Castle on Very Hard mode... and it's actualy surprisinly difficult. My sister, who is like a DDR God, can't even do it!

I used to be excellent, about seven-eight years ago. Back then, the mall had an arcade near the food court with a DDR machine (along with about six other rail shooters - no wonder I'm so good at them). On Fridays, my mom and dad would go shopping and they'd drop me off with some money and I'd get tokens (using an M&M's Minis tube to hold them, ingenious!) and I'd play the games.

I used to rock in DDR. I was able to get up to eight-foot difficulty songs easily, and I was able to play for quite a while. I mostly played this about once every hour or so, so I didn't wear myself out.

Then, in 2000, the mall did the most idiotic thing in the history of anything. They closed down the arcade in the food court, to replace it with a carousel for kiddies. *gag* Anyways, having no outlet to DDR, I lost my touch rather quickly. I've been able to regain it recently, since the mall store I spend my Saturdays in has a DDR machine, but I'm not as good as I used to be. I can only do up to 6-footers with maybe a 7-footer, and I have to rest after each playthrough.

Stupid age. I want to be fit again. >_<

*does Hammer Dance on Super Hard mode, the hardest level*

...That's the only song I can do on Super Hard. I'd hate to see Bowser's Castle on that level.
