Well, I've noticed that PMD has a lot more different status effects than the previous games and the fact that some of the well-known ones have been edited in one way or another to fit the dungeon-crawl style game. I want to make this a complete list so that no one gets surpried when something happens, which means I need everyone to gather information of the various status effects. I'm especially interested in the 'Decoy' and 'Whiffer' status effects...
Here's some of the ones I can remember right now:
~Paralysis: The Pokémon's Movement Speed and attack frequency are reduced. Attacks and moves become unusable. Wonder Item also won't work, but other items will. Its effects last a set number of turns.
~Poisoned: The Pokémon takes damage every ten turns. It is also prevented from regenerating HP. Poison does not disappear over turns. Heal it quickly by using certain moves or items, or by going to the next floor.
~Badly Poisoned: The Pokémon takes damage every two turns. It is also prevented from regenerating HP. This condition does not disappear over turns. Heal it quickly by using certain moves or items, or by going to the next floor.
~Burn: The Pokémon takes damage every few turns from its burn. Aburn can be healed by going into water, using certain moves or items, or by going to the next floor.
~Confused: The Pokémon's sense of direction becomes completely scrambled. Its moves and attack will even hit team members. This effect lasts a set number of turns.
~Sleep: The Pokémon falls asleep and becomes incapable of any action. Its effects lasts a set number of turns.
~Blinker: The Pokémon' eyesight fails. If can't see the terrain, other Pokémon or other items on the ground. This condition lasts for a set amount of turns.
~Petrified: The Pokémon becomes incapable of any action. This effect wears off if the Pokémon is hit by an attack or a move.
~Taunted: When using moves or Wonder Orb, the Pokémon will only ue offensive ones that deal damage. This effect lasts a set number of turns.
~Mini-Counter: The Pokémon counters any Physical Attack move or regular attack, and inflicts one quarter the damage it took from it foe. If the Pokémon faints, it cannot hit back. This condition lasts a set number of turns.
~Eyedrops: The Pokémon gainst the ability to see unsprung traps and invisible Pokémon. This effects wears off upon moving to another floor.
~Pierce: Any item thrown by the Pokémon will fly through all obstacles, including walls, until disappearing. This will effect all Pokémon in its path. Its effect wears off upon movign to the next floor.
~Digging: Using the move Dig, the Pokémon has gone underground to prepare for its attack. It will strike on the next turn to inflict damage.
