I've just restarted this game awhile ago to make my dream team, and I'm wondering if you guys have any good memories with your first game. Mine was Red. I LOVED my first Charmander.
My new team has:
Charizard
Growlithe (ALMOST Arcanine - he needs to be LV50 first)
Vileplume
Marowak
Gyrados
Pigeot

I caught both birds on the second throw!! (Art. and Zap. - Moltres is coming). I somehow hit them both to about 4 HP in two hits, sleeped 'um with Plume, and then threw an Ultra Ball twice for it! It was crazy. Normally they're harder for me.

Well Red was my First game what do you expect? me to be a master at like the first video game I got!

You're right, I wasn't either until, like Ruby. Well, etleast I didn't lose a lot. I trained my guys fairly evenly.
