Infinate Nuggets. When on the Nugget bridge keep losing to the guy who gives you the nugget. He will give it to you again when you fight him again. Repeat. Yeah thats true. Though you loose half your money each time you do that!  |

I guess what he's suggesting is you get a level 5 Magikarp or something insanely weak and spend every dollar you currently have on Potions and stuff. (I do that normally anyways) then go there with an empty wallet, get a Nugget, lose, get another one, and repeat ad infinitum.
Though truth be told, if you fight every trainer you can, you won't really have any money woes. At least I didn't.
