Though in fairness, with cross compatibility with versions of the games and the GTS, all the text are already implanted in the game. In the Japanese versions of the games, notice that even the English text fonts are a little bit bigger than in English versions. But now, look at the Squirtle in my video; I traded that in from my Platinum version. Originally, you can only fit 5 characters into naming things in the Japanese version while English lets you have more.
Though in fairness, many hackers have already hacked into their copies of the game and translated the basics with a patch (Ex: "A wild PIDGEY appeared!"). But the whole sentence structure is a lot different between Japanese and English as it has little to no influence with the revolution of the English language. That's because it lacks the Latin origin, unlike French, Spanish, and English that all come from Latin. English and Japanese pretty much share no similarity. So much more accurate translations, as well as programing funtions like Kapi has mentioned, and beta testing to make sure it all runs through is needed to make sure we get a flawless game with next to no glitches.

I've been trying to observe the text in the Japanese versions just to at least get a bearing on things, and I've noticed that there is always one character (Looks kind of like a side ways 0 with a curved line going through it in a vertical direction) that almost always appears after the character/Pokémon/NPC's name when they perform an action in which the verb would end in "ed." (E.x: Basic activated the PC/ Generically nicknamed Pokémon used tackle/Simple NPC handed over the plain item.) So now I can at least figure out what's going on a tiny little bit more. Ah, I see now. I should've known that already about English to Japanese; I guess impatience gets the better of me sometimes.

Oh look! Another new video! And please, no comments on how the filters were screwed up because I'm already and obviously painfully aware, but this was the best I could do.

*sigh* still cantfind rock climb im trying to capture ho-oh at the moment im not getting anywhere... You get the HM for Rock Climb when you collect all 16 gym badges. You then see Prof. Oak in Pallet Town and he gives it to you. Also, if I recall correctly, to get Ho-Oh you need to have the 8 Johto Gym Badges. You then go to Ecruteak City and go to the theater and challenge the actresses or whatever they are to battles. Defeat all of them and you'll get some kind of bell thing that summons Ho-Oh. Then go to the top of the Tin Tower and make sure you're prepared since Ho-Oh will be at level 40 in HG (level 70 in SS).

Same. Hey, in order to get the Notched-ear Pichu event, you have to preorder the game, right? That's what I heard but I don't know for sure...

Currently, there is no known event available or announced for a US version of the Notched (or "Spikey") eared Pichu that I am aware of. I know that the Arceus event is coming up here pretty soon, but nothing about the Pichu. Since the Shiny Pichu was not a Wi-Fi event, I figure the Shiny Pichu will eventually be a Toys R' Us event after the Arceus deal has wrapped up.
Oh, and I've been trying to get a new video up, but data was somehow corrupt so I've gotta start over on it. Problem is that I'm kinda lazy.
