That's when Jessie and James were the top members of Team Rocket. Now, since they've blasted off too many times, they fell on their heads a million too many times from an extremly high hight (and lived) and are indeed mentaly retarded now.

Just how much dynamite do they have in their pants to blast off like that? Probably the only time they weren't blasted off in the normal way (sent sky-high with their catchphrase) was the third episode, to my knowledge. When I think about it, that same episode was one of the closest those three have ever gotten to victory.
Fortunately, in fanfiction, Team Rocket (not those three) are usually very dangerous criminals. At least in the ones I usually read.

The rest of Team Rocket is actualy very successful. Those three, at one point (like, "before" Ash started his adventure) were the top leading members of Team Rocket. Now... they're comic relief.
(Also, "Team Rocket Blasting Off Again" happens about every other episode from what I can hazzard)

Yeah, but they could like, not do the theme. I remember in one episode they actually sneak up behind Team Rocket while they're singing the Team Rocket theme and rescue the Pokémon they stole. Then they (as in "Ash&Friends") act like Team Rocket is all powerful and run away. They turn around to find all the Pokémon out of their net and get really pissed.

Actualy, it is because it's shortened to 3 letters. If you actualy typed out "laughing out loud", then it'd be ok.
Next time, add a little humor to get around the rule by posting something like [/onewordpost] or something.
